Elephant Ankles

Oh man...I hate it when this happens.
You think you look all fly in the morning, prepping for the big day of school. You want to look like a princess, heck that's your goal and what's even better than getting to eat lunch at school?? Not too much. If you are 5. If you can pull your own tights up, who cares if you have elephant ankles??

Those Eyes...

This kid...let me tell you, this kid is something special. She's sensitive and loving, she looks up to her big sister like she hung the moon and she loves her Mommy and Daddy. Everyone loves this kid, she just has this silly, lovely personality...a little bit of spunk with a whole lotta cute. It's the eyes...they just melt ya.
She's also are kid that doesn't get a break. Well, I mean, she does, but there always seems to be "something"...when she was born it was an emergency induction because her heartrate was way low, then she had the cord wrapped around her neck and the nurses had to do their special nurse thing to make her pink (thank you THANK YOU THANK YOU for your awesome nurse skills!), and then we had to take her to Hershey at just a wee 6 days old to have her foot checked was twisted sideways, and the dr's wanted to make sure she didn't have club foot. she'll start speech therapy once a month for a year for moderate speech fluency (she stutters). We spent 2.5 hours being evaluated yesterday, and came out with this diagnosis. She went through a couple of different hearing tests where she was below normal on one and just below average on another (the third one she did great on). The lady doing the testing said the abnormal reading on the first test could be the makings of an ear infection...see where I'm going, this kid just can't get a break...hehe :)
She did impress the ladies evaluating her with her witty comments and sunny attitude :) She's a lover ;-) She also scored above average on many other aspects of the evaluation, in the 4 year old bracket on some of them.
I do love this kid, so, so MUCH! Thanks for being our special silly girl who likes to keep us on our toes!! xoxo

I'm feeling it.
I just love this picture of the 4 of us! My mom took it before Big wee one's birthday party on Saturday (which rocked!). I think I'm going to have it printed and framed...hang it on the wall to enjoy all the time :)

Dance Party 2010

I cranked up the tv on channel 5,462 (90's hit channel) and the wee ones decided that pizza was boring and dancing was the THANG! I agree...who needs to eat when you can dance?!! And honestly, I love it. As a Mom who LOVES to dance, I mean LOVES to dance, it delights me to no end to see these two shaking their groove thang!!
Little wee one was mostly just spinning and jumping, but she was letting the energy go. Feeling the vibe. Letting loose. Look how happy she is!
I didn't even know Big wee one could do the sprinkler!! She just busted it out and of course I had to jump in and join her!
High kicks. Anyone that knows me, knows that I dance. I will dance on demand. I'll dance when no one is looking...I dance for everyone's entertainment and for my own. I've been to the emergency because of my suppa star dance just makes me so happy to see them dancing :) I love it!
I have a video and I would love to share it with you, but I can't figure out how to upload the video from my flip...I think I need to download the program first...wait, Paul's flip :) hehe!
Peace my peeps!

You think I forgot?

You think I gave it up didn't you? You thought, "Yea, that Tina...just a phase." WRONGGGG....
I've been scrapping for about 15 years, I'm not over it...I was just busy, but don't you worry your pretty little head...T-Flo is back! Sure, it's a slow start, but I'm back baby and I am a scrap-happy fool!
Ok, so maybe that is all over the top, but whatev, I'm just happy to get some pages back in the mojo...especially this cute little snowy one of Little wee one. I created it using Polka Dot Plum Designers kit: "Ready Set Snow"
This one is from our recent little venture to our community ballet's performance of the Nutcracker. This cute kit is called Jingle Jangle and Polka Dot Pixels created it (also available at Polka Dot Plum) Finally, we have Little wee one enjoying her alone time at one of Paul's lacrosse games. This kit is called: Road Less Traveled by Sherry Ferguson (you guessed it, available at Polka Dot Plum) I am a one stop shop for cute kids...walking advertisment for Polka Dot Plum and this week I'll be hosting a technique challenge over at the PDP forums :) More on that later.
Have a wonderful day and I hope whatever your hobby is, you get to enjoy it a lot in 2010. If you don't have a hobby and you are driving everyone crazy with your endless banter...get a hobby :)
Peace peeps!

This will be my "word" for 2010.

I have never chosen a word, and I'm following lead from my friend Marie, both on a word and on project 365. I am hoping that both of these projects keep me focused for the year and to realize what is truly "real" in my world...

With that being said, Peace is my word for the year. Last year is over, this year is beginning and 2010 is a new year filled with Peace. Peace in my life, my loves, my marriage, my kids, my friends, in the situations that I cannot control and those that I can. Peace.

I like it.

What is your word for 2010??
