Date Night & Digi

My great friend C came over tonight and asked if we wanted to go out to dinner and a movie, in exchange her and her husband can go out for dinner and a movie. Sounds like a done-deal to me. So off to dinner we went. Unfortunately, our favorite Mexican joint was piz-zacked! :( We settled for Italian and decided to over gorge ourselves on popcorn at the movies. It worked...we are both stuffed and sick feeling. But man, that nasty, buttery, with nacho cheese flavored sprinkling stuff on top popcorn sure was worth it.

We saw the Dark Night, what a great movie! LONG! But good...its sad that Heath is no longer with us, he was an extremely talented actor. It's a bummer that his last movie was so deep and not something more upbeat.

Sunday, will be our day with the wee ones...all 5 of them. I know I've said this before, but I honestly don't know what Big wee one is going to do when they move (who knows when its going to happen, but eventually it will)...these kids are like brothers and sisters!

I've been on a SERIOUS digi kick this past week. It started last Friday night when I got together with my girlfriends and worked on these pages. Since then I have completed a few more pages...some I won't show because we have our scrapbook challenge reveal night next week. I'll show them off after that night.

This page is a pre-done page, I just added the picture and the journaling. Easy :-)

This page was a template. I added the paper into the pre-established LO and then added some of my own touches...another time saver. This pages talks about how I love being a mom, but how I'm also my own person.These are the three pages I've gotten done for Little Wee ones birthday...doesn't look like I'll have that finished by birthday # 2, but if you know me...that's no surprise ;-)

If you don't have a hobby, something that gets you excited and something that you can do with friends (or by yourself)...find one! Make it your passion and make it your own. I've been scrapping for 10 years now, you should see my first scrapbook....POO! But, I've loved it and I've made some incredible friends through scrapping. I've taught classes, been published, sat up REALLY late cutting and laying pictures and embellishments to achieve my perfect look.

Now, I'm thrilled to be able to digi scrap in bed at night! Pick up my laptop and my external hard drive and take it wherever I want. My hobby now travels lightly.

Another Year

Happy Birthday Paul!!

Here's to another year of ups & downs, laughs and tears, giggles and frustrations. Another year of lacrosse and work, potty breaks and potty training. Getting up in the middle of the night and staying up late to cuddle. Another year, and another wrinkle :-) You are the BEST Dad, husband and friend. Thanks for being my best friend, my "go to" man and making me laugh! You are still as handsome as the first day I layed eyes on you and you still make me laugh the hardest! Have a wonderful day and enjoy all that this next year brings!

Emails...

Here is a little email blurb that Paul and I sent back and forth today...made me chuckle.

Tina wrote: "Lol...very funny mr! :-) I've officially updated everyone and anyone I know from my HS class, and I've emailed Shelly to see if we can stay with her and if she'll watch the girls during the reunion. I've also emailed all my girlfriends to see if we can't get together Friday night after the football game. I'm getting excited. Should be a good time
;-)"

Paul replied: "Ya right, whatever. Miss I'm tired and going to sleep and still wake up and be tired while my eyes are hanging on the dash waiting for the Calvary to relieve me and Riddy says, "Daddy, you tired...Chocolate Milk Please"...than I drive into some small town in the middle of "holy shit"

If you are confused, we are talking about our upcoming HAUL to TX for my 10 year high school reunion. I'm the worst c0-navigator there is. As soon as it hits about 9 pm I cannot for the life of me, keep my eyes open! Paul drives the majority of the trip, but wouldn't you know that he always asks me to drive after I've been asleep for a couple of hours. I'm so bad at it...lol. This time, I'll be better and we'll be stopping on the way down there. Coffee and a portable potty should help make the trip go smoothly!! Anyone with travel tips and games and video ideas for wee ones...shoot me a message, I'll need any and ALL advice! :-)

Hanging with the Homies...

I got together with my homies last night...the first time in a long time to scrap!! Have I mentioned that I LOVE digi scrapping??!! I now have 5 friends that have jumped over the computer's edge into the world of digital! Here are 2 pages I worked on last night...once I post this, I'm back to the digi-drawing board ;-)

"Boobays"

For breakfast this morning Little wee one asked for "boobays"...so I gave her some. I went up to dry my hair, came back down and Little wee one asked, "More Boobays Pees!"

Big wee one said, "Ewwww...that's gross, I don't like those!"

Get your head out of the gutter will ya!! She just loves Boobays!!

Two Week Recap

We've been so busy the last two weeks...here is a review with pictures.

I took the girls up to our old stompin' grounds to visit with friends. We had a wonderful time, thanks to ADR for opening her casa de' la keenan for us to come in and destroy :-)

We got to meet this little munchkin.

And see one of my very good friends. Along with some other friends, that I didn't get pictures of...sorry ladies! Play at an awesome park! Lots of good times and laughs were had!

This month's Mom's Night Out was a fondue/pool party and I had a blast! I love this once a month get away for the night with all of these fun ladies.

I hosted an ice cream playgroup at the park, and the girls had a blast!

Friday evening (no pictures to share of this) was First Fridays in downtown C-burg and it went very well! I was extremely pleased with the turn-out, the weather was beautiful and Big wee one and I got to spend some quality time together (Paul took Little wee one home, she had a tummy ache).

Saturday, we went to Caledonia State Park and played in the creek. The girls had a BLAST, and it wore them out for good naps. We'll be heading back there real soon for another refreshing play day.

When we got home there was a surprise on our front step for Big wee one...she's been a riding machine since this awesome new Dora bike appeared! A HUGE thank you to Nikki & Steph for dropping it off, you two ladies ROCK!

We got to hang out with some friends Saturday night, and the girls had such a great time that they zonked out where ever they landed...it was pretty funny actually, my friend's basement looked like a crime scene with kids just laying around, passed out.
